Educational Qualification

Assistant Agriculture Officer:

  • B.Sc. in Agriculture or Horticulture from a recognized university.

Agriculture Research Officer (Agronomy, Entomology, Plant Pathology, Botany):

  • M.Sc. (Agriculture) in the relevant field or an equivalent postgraduate degree.

Statistical Officer:

  • Postgraduate degree in Mathematics/Statistics or Agriculture specializing in Statistics.

Additional Requirement:

Candidates must have working knowledge of Hindi written in the Devanagari script and awareness of Rajasthan’s culture.

Age Limit

The age limit is required according to the posts. For positions like Assistant Agriculture Officer (NSA and SA) and Assistant Agriculture Research Officer in fields such as Agronomy, Botany, Pathology, Entomology, and Agriculture Chemistry, the age limit is set between 18 to 40 years.

On the other hand, specialized positions such as Statistical Officer and Agriculture Research Officer (in fields like Agronomy, Botany, Plant Pathology, Entomology, Agriculture Chemistry, and Horticulture) require candidates to be between 20 to 40 years of age. Candidates must meet these age criteria as of January 1, 2025.

Age Relaxation

The following category-wise age relaxations are applicable as per government norms:

  • SC/ST/OBC/EWS (Male): 5 years
  • SC/ST/OBC/EWS (Female): 10 years
  • General (Female): 5 years
  • Widows/Divorcees: No upper age limit
  • Ex-Servicemen: Up to 15 years of relaxation, depending on the post
