YIL Apprentice Recruitment 2024: Educational Qualifications Required
- For Non-ITI Candidates:
- Must have completed Class X (Matriculation) or an equivalent exam with at least 50% overall marks.
- Should have achieved at least 40% in both Mathematics and Science.
- For ITI Candidates:
- Must have passed Class X and successfully completed a relevant trade test from NCVT or SCVT-recognized institutions with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks.
Age Limit for YIL Vacancy 2024
- Minimum Age: 14 years (18 years for hazardous trades).
- Maximum Age: 35 years as of the application deadline (November 21, 2024).
- Age relaxations are available as per government regulations for SC, ST, OBC, and other reserved categories.

Selection Process for Apprentice Posts

Older candidates will be preferred in case of identical scores. If candidates share the same birth date, the one who passed the examination first will be given priority. Provisionally selected candidates will need to attend document verification and a medical check-up.
