The Indian Navy has announced recruitment for several Group ‘B’ (Non-Gazetted) and Group ‘C’ civilian posts, including roles like Fireman, Tradesman, and Chargeman, through the Indian Navy Civilian Entrance Test (INCET-01/2024). This recruitment is for positions across various commands in the Indian Navy. To take part in the exam, candidates need to download their admit card from the official website, as it is required for entry.

Candidates who completed the online application process, which ran from July 20 to August 2, 2024, can now download their admit cards from the Indian Navy’s official site.

Update on the CBT Exam

The Computer-Based Test (CBT) initially scheduled from September 10 to 14 has been cancelled by the Examination Authority. A new exam date will be announced soon.

INCET Civilian Selection Process

The selection process for Indian Navy Civilian recruitment has several steps:

  1. Screening of Applications: Initial check of applications to confirm eligibility.
  2. Online Computer-Based Examination: Multiple-choice questions covering General Intelligence, General Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude, and English Language.
  3. Physical Standard and Endurance Test: Required for certain posts like Fireman and Fire Engine Driver.
  4. Document Verification: Checking of required documents as per guidelines.
  5. Medical Examination: A medical check to confirm candidates’ fitness.

Exam Pattern and Paper Scheme

The online exam includes the following sections:

  • General Intelligence: 25 Questions
  • General Awareness: 25 Questions
  • Quantitative Aptitude: 25 Questions
  • English Language: 25 Questions

This exam has a total of 100 questions, each worth one mark, and will last 90 minutes. It will be available in both English and Hindi (except for the English section).

How to Download Indian Navy INCET Civilian Admit Card 2024

The admit card is essential for entry to the exam. It includes key details like your name, roll number, exam location, and timings. Candidates should double-check all details on the admit card and bring a valid photo ID with it to the exam center.

Follow these steps to download the admit card:

  3. Click the link for the INCET-01/2024 Admit Card.
  4. Enter your registration number and password.
  5. Download and print the admit card.

It’s recommended to print multiple copies for future use. Make sure to bring both your admit card and a photo ID to the exam center, as entry will not be allowed without these
