The Karnataka Public Service Commission (KPSC) has released the notification for the KPSC PDO Exam 2024. The exam will be held in two phases:
- 07 December 2024 – Kannada Language Test
- 08 December 2024 – Competitive Exam

The application process for the KPSC PDO Recruitment began on April 15, 2024, and ended on May 15, 2024. Candidates had a full month to submit their applications. This notification was for PDO (Panchayat Development Officer) posts.
KPSC PDO Exam Date 2024
The exam date has not been announced yet. Once it is released on the official website, we will update it here. Meanwhile, candidates should continue focusing on their preparation to qualify for the exam. The admit card will have all the important details like exam date, time, center, and instructions to follow on exam day.
Paper Pattern and Exam Scheme
The exam will consist of two objective-type papers, with a total of 200 marks:
- Paper 1: General Knowledge (100 marks, 90 minutes)
- Paper 2:
- General Kannada (35 marks)
- General English (35 marks)
- Computer Knowledge (30 marks)
Time duration for Paper 2: 120 minutes.
Selection Process
The KPSC PDO recruitment selection process has two key stages:
- Kannada Language Test – This test is mandatory to check candidates’ proficiency in Kannada. It ensures that all applicants can communicate effectively in Kannada, which is vital for the role of Panchayat Development Officer (PDO).
- Competitive Written Test – This is the main exam, consisting of two objective-type papers. These papers evaluate candidates’ general knowledge, language skills, and technical abilities.
Candidates must pass both stages to qualify for the PDO posts. The Kannada Language Test is a qualifying round, while the Competitive Written Test will determine the final merit list.

To download your hall ticket, follow these steps:
- Visit the official KPSC website: kpsc.kar.nic.in
- On the homepage, go to the What’s New section.
- Find the link for KPSC PDO Hall Ticket 2024 and click on it.
- Enter your application number and date of birth in the required fields.
- Click on the Submit button.
- Your hall ticket will appear on the screen.
- Download and print the hall ticket for future reference.
