IGCAR Recruitment Selection Process

The selection process varies across posts and is designed to ensure that the most qualified candidates are chosen:

  • Personal Interview: For higher-level posts (Scientific Officer, Technical Officer, Scientific Assistant), the selection will be based on performance in a personal interview.However, if the response is overwhelming, IGCAR reserves the right to conduct a screening test before the interview stage.
  • Screening Test (If Required):
    For certain posts, candidates may be required to appear for a screening test comprising multiple-choice questions (MCQs). The test will have 75 questions, with negative marking for incorrect answers.

    • Incorrect Answer: -1 point

  • Three-Tier Selection Process:
    Posts such as Nurse/A, Pharmacist/B, Technician/B will involve a three-stage selection process:
